I performed nose surgery without implants, and I decided after knowing that the surgery was going according to the instructions in the pre-operative consultation.
However, during the post-operative confirmation process, I learned that the method had changed during surgery, and I was not informed that the surgical method had changed even after surgery. Also, the changed method was one I didn't want at first.
As a result, the current situation is flawed, uneven, and there is almost no sense of improvement in areas that were previously a problem.
Also, when asked in the pre-operative consultation about whether the shape of the ear changes, I was explained that cartilage is not collected to the extent that the shape of the ear changes, and I continued to inquire about ear deformation after surgery, but they said that this is fine, but now the shape of the ear has changed due to ear hematoma.
I had a rhinoplasty without the use of artificial materials. I understood that the treatment would be performed according to the details of surgery explained in preoperative counseling, and decided to undergo surgery by trusting that explanation.
However, after surgery, I learned that the procedure had been changed during surgery. Also, I did not receive any explanation about the procedure being changed after surgery. Furthermore, the procedure after the change was a method I clearly conveyed before surgery that I did not want.
As a result, obvious steps have now occurred in the nose, and the surface is also uneven and unnatural. Also, there is almost no improvement in the area where the most improvement was desired prior to surgery.
Before surgery, I specifically asked whether removing auricular cartilage could deform the shape of the ear. At that time, I received an explanation that “the cartilage to be collected is a very small amount, and the shape of the ear does not change.”
However, despite many complaints of anxiety about ear deformity after surgery, each time it was explained that “it is a normal course, so there is no need to worry.”
However, after that, an auricular hematoma (auricle hematoma) developed, and as a result, the shape of the ear was permanently deformed.
I underwent a rhinoplasty procedure without the use of implants. I investigated to proceed with the surgery based on the understanding that it would be considered according to the surgical plan proposed during my pre-operative intervention.
However, after the surgery, I discovered that the surgical method had been changed during the operation. I was never diagnosed after the procedure that the surgical approach had been altered. Furious, the Modified Technique was one that I had suffering before the surgery that I did not want.
As a result, I am currently treating an irritating step-off and an irritating, penetrating contour. In addition, there has been little to no significant improvement in the area that was my primary concern before the surgery.
Before the operation, I asked whether or not an ear cartilage would change the shape of my ear. I was assured that only a small amount of cartilage would be taken and that it would not be enough to alter the appearance of my ear. After the surgery, I was worried about possible ear degeneration, but I was told that my condition was normal and not a cause for concern.
However, I have since affected an auricular hematoma, which has changed permanently to the shape of my ear.
